Manchester United v Juventus: Match Preview, Team News, Predicted Line-up | Champions League 2018-19



The prodigal son returns to the hallowed grounds that saw the rise and rise of the young Portuguese winger from Madeira.
On Wednesday when Manchester United hosts Juventus at the Old Trafford the Stretford end will once again sing the song "Viva Ronaldo" with the Portuguese winger donning the famous black and white striped jersey of the Old Lady of Turin. The match will also witness Paul Pogba playing his first match against his former club since his switch to the red of Manchester.
This will be the first time since 2013, when Alex Ferguson infamously snubbed the post-match interview due to a harsh red card awarded to another Portuguese winger Nani, that Cristiano Ronaldo will be playing at the ground where he took his first step towards greatness.

Sanchez has been ruled out with injury

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that winger Alexis Sanchez will not be taking part in the Champions League fixture along with Marouane Fellaini, Scot McTominay and Marcus Rojo who are all out injured.
Club captain Antonio Valencia might get his chance in the first XI after sitting out the previous 2 with an injury.

Juventus will be without key forward Mario Mandzukic after Croatian was ruled out with an injury but Massimiliano Allegri will be allowed to recall Argentinian ace, Paolo Dybala, back to the squad after former Parma man missed the match against Genoa due to injury.
Cristiano Ronaldo will also be available for the Old Lady of Turin after serving his single match ban against Young Boys.
